About
Honor the People Who Shaped This Institution
A Centennial Initiative ✨ 1927–2027
As Pitt-Johnstown approaches its 100th anniversary, we're pausing to recognize the professors who challenged us, the coaches who pushed us, the staff who supported us, and the students who inspired us. Every Mountain Cat has been shaped by someone who made a lasting difference. Now it's time to say thank you.
The UPJ Centennial Honoree Fund is a community-driven initiative to recognize the people who define what UPJ means to each of us.
A Tradition of Gratitude
Honoring someone begins with a nomination. Tell us about a faculty member, staff person, or fellow alumnus (living or deceased) who left a lasting impression on your life, and make a gift in their name. Invite others who share your gratitude to add their own gift in tribute.
As gifts made in a nominee's honor accumulate, so does their recognition. Once contributions in someone's name reach $10,000 or more, that person is named a UPJ Centennial Honoree, permanently recognized as someone who embodies the spirit of Pitt-Johnstown.
Every gift, at every level, brings a nominee closer to that recognition, and helps build the next hundred years of UPJ.
Consider a gift of $100, $1,000, $10,000, or a $100,000 pledge to name a space or endow a fund. Every gift makes an impact!
Here's how your donation can make an impact
🏆$100 = Celebrate a Mountain Cat: Honor someone who made a difference in your UPJ experience.
🌎$1000 = Honor a Legacy: Recognize someone whose impact on you and UPJ continues today.
🥇$10,000 = Shape the Next Century: Make a lasting investment in the people and programs that will define UPJ’s future.
🌟$100,000 = Define the Future: Make a transformational investment that will shape UPJ and its Mountain Cats for generations to come.
Why Now
One hundred years of UPJ is a milestone worth celebrating. Whether through scholarships, unrestricted gifts, or support for a cause close to your heart, your gift will leave a lasting mark. The impact of those we celebrate today will be felt for the next hundred years, and it's because of your generosity that their story, and yours, lives on.
Thank you for considering a contribution to our Centennial campaign!
